He then completed a PhD in experimental Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at the University of Toronto, on the subject of Quantum Measurement. As an NSERC postdoctoral fellow, he joined the Clarendon Laboratory at the University of Oxford. There, he led a Photonic Quantum Information subgroup, developing ways to generate, manipulate and characterize quantum light. After a tenure as a visiting post-doctoral fellow performing experiments with squeezed light at the Institute of Photonic Sciences in Barcelona, he returned to Canada to work on quantum dot sources of single photons as a Research Associate at the National Research Council, Ottawa. In 2011, he became a Research Officer in Quantum Radiometry at Institute for National Measurement Standards at NRC. In 2013, Dr <span class=\"mark63rzxhp8q\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Lundeen<\/span> became an Assistant Professor in Quantum Photonics in the Physics Dept. at the University of Ottawa. In 2019, he became an Associate Professor. His current research focuses on experimental quantum metrology, fundamental quantum physics, and quantum information.
